Scouts Annual Fire Safety Competition

Examples of artwork from previous competitions

The competition is to design a poster raising the importance of fire safety in the home.   Scout Groups are invited to produce a Home Escape Plan Poster that details the priority actions in the event they discover a fire.

Steps in the plan should include methods of preventing, detecting, containing and escaping a fire. The winning entry will receive a cash prize and the poster will be published in the Scouting magazine and Chubb website in 2012.

Jane Garland, Chubb’s Marketing Communications Manager, says “I’m delighted that the Fire Safety Badge remains so popular, a Home Escape plan is a vital part of every household’s fire safety,” she says. “This competition part of our ongoing annual campaign to reinforce the crucial message of fire safety.”
